Storyboard—Defining Moments

This program is about helping people find stories in themselves. Students are encouraged to explore the 'defining moments' in their lives by participating in lecture and workshop activities based on the principles of creative writing. Stories are written in the first person, based on fact, and shared with facilitators and other participants through roundtable discussions where rough drafts are refined as short stories, poems or lyrical narratives. Charles Jarrett will facilitate this two-day seminar with Susan Kammeraad-Campbell, (Joggling Board Press) and Teresa Bruce, author of The Other Mother.
