DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and interactive program where kids ages 0-18
  will learn about the historic Boston Tea Party. Participants will discove
 r why colonists protested British taxes\, sample some of the types of tea 
 that were thrown into Boston Harbor\, and take part in a hands-on reenactm
 ent by "spilling" tea over the side of the tug boat in the library. This e
 ngaging program combines history\, storytelling\, and interactive activiti
 es to bring an important event from America's past to life for young learn
 ers. We thank our partners in the DAR and CAR for co-hosting this program
