 in the Charles W. & Norma C. Carroll Gallery\, June 15 to July 24\, 2026.\
 n\n \n\nIn celebration of the U.S. 250th anniversary\, Legend Has It prese
 nts quilts that narrate the history of labor\, transportation\, commerce\,
  and freedom in Cabell County and nearby areas. Each quilt reflects storie
 s of migration\, industry\, and resilience\, honoring the contributions of
  women and men who shaped West Virginia's communities and industries throu
 gh both historical patterns and contemporary designs.\n\n \n\nEarlier this
  year\, the School of Art & Design put out a call for quilts and fiber pie
 ces that captured these themes. After reviewing a wide range of submission
 s\, jurors selected nearly 25 works for this summer’s exhibition in the 
 Carroll Gallery.\n\n \n\nLegend Has It will be on view in the Charles W. &
  Norma C. Carroll Gallery from June 15 to July 24\, 2026\, with a public r
 eception on July 17 from 5–7 p.m.\, during the Downtown Art Walk. \n\n \
 n\nThe galleries are free and open to the community Monday through Friday\
